We are excited that we’ve had some fantastic parties and meet ups now as we continue to move towards launching Vineyard 53 here in Chester. We had a bonfire party last night which was just brilliant! The weather stayed dry, the fireworks were fun, food was great, great people and the bonfire was beautiful (some pictures are included)!
We are loving meeting so many new people, all with different stories to tell, some have experience of church and Jesus, most don’t but enjoy the opportunity to chat about the big questions in life.
We still feel a little mad having left good jobs, family and friends to rock up to a new city to share the life of Jesus with people in a relevant way, showing compassion and love to all those we meet. But we are on an amazing journey which is stretching us and building something beautiful at the same time.
We’ve been looking at venues - for a Christmas event, or two, as well as hiring a room in the new-year to tell our story and explain what the vision of the new church is all about. Exciting times!
