Our Story
"The story is of course much longer and we hope to share that more with you in the future! We are so excited about this next chapter of our lives as we look to serve God in the North West." |
After meeting in York, we moved to Nottingham in 2003 to join, and later work on the pastoral staff for Trent Vineyard. We got married in Nottingham and since then we have had three gorgeous children, Grace, Isabelle and Oliver.
John I grew up in a smallish town in the Cotswolds before moving to York for University, where I trained and then worked for two years in finance, met my wonderful wife and got excited about what is possible with God. For six years until the autumn of 2013 I had an amazing time working on the pastoral staff at Trent Vineyard. Soon after we arrived in Nottingham God began to speak about and confirm a calling for us to start a church. And at the start of 2013, it began to become evident that this was the year! God began to stir in us a heart to head towards Chester and begin Vineyard 53. I am passionate about seeing the Church be all it can be for the glory of God, having a massive impact and changing the world. As well as this I am passionate about football, coffee and my amazing family! Anna So, I have red hair (ok it's ginger!), a real passion for church, for family and for seeing people find purpose and meaning. I also love cooking, especially trying out Jamie Oliver's recipes! I first heard God calling me to lead in Church at University in York. I met John, moved to Nottingham and have been serving and leading at Trent Vineyard ever since. I have had a growing excitement about what God is doing in the North West and can't wait to get involved. The story is of course much longer and we hope to share that more with you in the future! We are so excited about this next chapter of our lives as we look to serve God in the North West. |
