Church has always been more than a building. Whether we are together or apart, we are to make Jesus known in our communities.

On October 5th we have an opportunity to do just that by supporting the university chaplaincy welcoming new students and by volunteering at the marathon.

There will be no gathering at Binks this Sunday, but we’d love everyone to come and be the church together out of the building.

Find out all the information and let us know that you are going to be joining in below.

Welcome Students

11am-3pm, Sunday 5th October
Exton Park Campus, Parkgate Road, Chester

We love meeting on the university campus and want to support the chaplaincy as they welcome new students. We will be serving free soup, having conversations and being a presence with the chaplaincy on campus.

Sign up to let us know you want to help so that we can send you all the details.

This event is for adults only.

Volunteer at the Marathon

9am-11am, Sunday 5th October
Rake Lane, Eccleston, Chester

We love the city of Chester and want to play our part in making the marathon, one of the cities biggest events, a success. We’ve been given a mile of the course to host - providing stewards and creating a supportive atmosphere.

We want to make this the most fun mile of the race, showing that the church loves the city.

Sign up to let us know you want to help so that we can send you all the details - especially how to get there with all the road closures.
