The story so far

Before the pandemic began, Vineyard 53 hosted a St David’s Day Party at Caffi Isa in Mynydd Isa. We offered free refreshments, crafts for children, storytime and the Caffi Isa Choir sang. A lot of fun was had by all who came. We noticed that God was at work, and that we wanted to join in what he was doing.

In 2020, as lockdown restrictions allowed, we met in small numbers in different locations around the area to watch the streaming of Vineyard 53 services. A group of us met in Caffi Isa and as we did, we strongly sensed that God was drawing our attention to something that he was starting in the Mynydd Isa area, and we did not want to miss it!

In the years since Covid, we continued to meet and pray. In 2024, members of our north East Wales community moved further across North Wales to plant Gwynedd Vineyard Church.
