NEW SUNDAY VENUE
From Sunday 19th January 2025 we’re moving to a new Sunday venue.
Alongside ample parking, space to offer hospitality and chat, rooms for kids and youth and a venue for adults, we’re excited to step into more in this venue: more space to invite others to join us; more room to hang out together and; more opportunities to engage with passersby.
All the details about the venue are below.
Where is it?
Binks Building,
Exton Campus,
University of Chester,
Parkgate Road,
Chester,
CH1 4BJ
There is ample parking on site and a car parking team will help you find your way to the car park and then to the building itself. Please use the map and watch the video to help you navigate the site.
When is it?
10:00am - Refreshments open
10:15am - Vineyard Kids sign in
10:30am - Adult gathering starts
Our first Sunday in the new venue will be Sunday 19th January 2025.
What is it like?
The building is on the University of Chester’s main campus and many elements of the building will feel very familiar to Bridge House. There’s a much larger atrium, so we’re going to have more space to welcome others, chat before and after the gathering and enjoy tasty pastries! There’s also some good outdoor space for when the weather warms up.
The building is arranged differently to Bridge House and we will signpost where everything is - toilets, kids and youth rooms, refreshments and the adult venue.
Being on the main campus, we’re going to have more interaction with students. We’re looking forward to inviting them to church!
How can I join in?
Come along on Sunday 19th January! We know that we don’t all love change, but we’d love to start with a bang in the new venue.
Aside from continuing to come on Sundays, you can continue to join in in the same ways:
Why are we moving?
Like many universities, the University of Chester is experiencing financial challenges at the moment. In order to save money, they are keeping all except their main campus closed at the weekends. This means that Queens Park Campus - where we have been meeting is no longer available to us.
Aside from this practical reason, a new venue has been on our mind for a while. We’ve been filling Bridge House consistently for a few years and have known that we needed more space if we were to keep stepping faithfully towards our vision of inviting people into relationship with Jesus and seeking transformation in every part of life. So, we excited to be stepping forward together.
