Vineyard 53 is a big family and this year we are going away together!
We're heading off for a weekend of camping in Prestatyn on the North Wales coast - an area renowned for its beautiful beaches.
Prestatyn, 11th-13th July 2025
With a very limited formal programme, it's a chance to hang out, relax and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. If camping is not your thing, you can stay at home and join us each day - we’re staying less than an hour from Chester.

We’re going away for the weekend of the 11th-13th July 2025
-
We're staying at the Albert Wilson Memorial Field, a dedicated campsite on the edge of the town of Prestatyn.
If camping isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other places to stay in Prestatyn, or you can join us each day as the campsite is less than an hour’s drive from Chester.
The address is:

If you're camping, you'll need to bring your own tent and camping equipment. We’ll only be a short walk from the beach, so make sure you bring your beach stuff too!
To reduce unnecessary waste, we’d love it if everyone could try and bring their own cups/mugs, plates and cutlery. There are washing up facilities on site if you need them.
We appreciate that not everyone has access to camping equipment but we don’t want anybody to miss out so if you need help in this area please chat to Gray Lindsay and we will do our best to find you some spare kit.
-
The following food and refreshments are included in the cost of your ticket:
Snacks and hot chocolate – Friday and Saturday evening
Continental Breakfast – Saturday morning
Dinner – Saturday evening
Bacon rolls (or veggie/vegan alternative) – Sunday morning
Tea and coffee – throughout the weekendAll dietary requirements will be catered for.
Lunches will not be provided, so bring whatever you would like to eat for those meals. Our intention in providing a hot meal on the Saturday evening is that you don’t have to bring camp cooking equipment if you don’t want to. For example, you could just bring some pack lunch things for Saturday and Sunday.
-
Campsite facilities include:
Male and female showers and toilets (including disabled wet room and toilet)
Washing up area
Onsite chapelWe have chosen to have a no dogs policy for the weekend. The campsite does not normally accommodate dogs and due to the size and nature of our group we have decided it would be better not to allow dogs. Sorry if this causes any disappointment.
-
The ticket prices for the full weekend are as follows:
Adult (18+) - £35 per person
Youth (12-17) - £22 per person
Child (4-11) - £16 per person
Infants (under 4s) - FreeAll tickets include 2 nights camping and the food outlined above.
If you would like to come for one night only, half price tickets are available. Additionally Saturday day tickets are available for a small fee if you are not planning on camping at all.
We don’t want anyone to feel they can’t come because of financial restraints, so please have a discreet chat with Gray Lindsay if cost is an issue for you.
